One Wife (retired art teacher) - Carole Beach (also on garden commission)

2 adult daughters who live in Chicago (why we moved here from Michigan, Detroit area)

Do you have pets?:

No pets now, but have had many (dogs, cats, gerbils, fish.....)

What is your favorite restaurant in Chicago?: 

...there are so many here!

Sox or Cubs?:

Sox

What do you enjoy most about Lake Michigan?:

We have a sail boat in Montrose harbor.  We love living in IT because we can walk to our boat!

Do you prefer the smell of rain or fall leaves?:

I love any outdoor smell, but LOVE the Fall colors

What is your favorite flower?:

Mountain Lupine

Did you garden as a child?:

I didn't garden much, except mowing lawns

Who gardens with you now?:

My wife and I garden together in our plot.

What are you most excited to grow in your plot this year?: 

We want to grow flowers

What has been your favorite ITCG event?: 

We loved the Cello concert!

​

What is your favorite thing to cook or cocktail to mix?:

We both love Gin and Tonics!

Any plans for garden decor (seasonal or not)?:
