Our passionate team is dedicated to continuing and expanding our mission of bringing the members of the Imperial Towers community together through gardening. Gene Arbetter

Co-chair
Gene has smoothed the way for the Community Garden and has made sure the ITCG has approached the board with their best foot forward.

Mindy Banks

Mindy was one of the driving forces behind the Community Garden. She has become an active member of the Committee for the '22 growing season.

Doug Boehm

Doug joined the Committee during the 2021 growing season. He is putting his expertise in digital design to work coordinating our social media.

Lynne Grady-Cornell

Lynne, one of the founding committee members, has a past full of home gardening. Our gracious hostess has transferred her love of home gardening to enthusiastic support for the community garden.

Mary Ann Karales

Treasurer
Mary Ann has meticulously kept the ITCG purse in order. She has successfully enrolled gardeners for the 35 pioneering plots. She was also a fundamental supporter of the 2018 herb wall.

Mallory McShane

Mallory is an energetic member of our gardening commission and taught our Cooking with Herbs class in 2019. Mallory now takes the lead on planning for events in the garden.

April Joy Roberts

April is taking the lead on the Support Crew. She and her team will coordinate weekly responsibilities amongst our gardener community for the benefit of our garden community as a whole.

Molly Seurynck

Molly has experience in founding community gardens, writing grants, blogging, permaculture, and gardening for produce through her Peace Corps experience in eSwatini. She has transferred these skills to her more urban life in Chicago for the benefit the ITCG, newsletter, and social media.
